In August of 2020, after a 21-year career as an Accountant in corporate America, I took a huge leap and opened Gray Buffalo Consulting. An accounting and consulting company that allowed me to apply my skill set in assisting and guiding small and medium size businesses in achieving their company goals.

 

The name “Gray Buffalo” was established in honor of my maternal grandparents Grace and Salvatore Belfiore, aka “Gray” and “Buffalo”. My grandparents were farmers in South Jersey and I loved growing up on the farm and spending countless hours with them, learning how the farm operates and the value of hard work. At age 16, I worked hand in hand with my grandfather to operate the farm and was excited to spend all of the profits!  I quickly learned farming margins are very tight, cost of borrowing is cumbersome and expensive, and there were little to no profits to be spent! My grandfather praised me for my hard work that summer and reluctantly advised me to continue my education and find a career that would be rewarding to me and provide for family.
